Workshops and training programmes

  1. An Industry interaction on the utilization of fresh water fishes for value addition was organized in association with American Soybean Association (Indian branch) on 17th -18th July, 2011. Twenty-five participants from processing industry and aquaculture industry participated in the workshop. They were giving practical demonstration of various products from fresh water fish.
  2. Training on “Technology for Value Added Products and Entrepreneurship Development” was organized in the Dept. of Fish Processing Technology, College of Fisheries, Mangalore for nearly 45 women processors and retailers for 4 days.
  3. Training on “Meenina Uthpannagalu Matthu Udhyamasheelathege Iruva Avakaashagalu” was organised at  Dept. of Fish Processing Technology, College of Fisheries from 08th -11th June, 2009.
