Vision of the Department

• There is scope for starting short term courses in fishing gear designs, fishing vessel safety and stability, Modern Fishing Technology, Marine engines and maintenance for the boat operators.
• Start PhD programmers in Fishery Engineering and develop the department with necessary infrastructure including staffing.
• To acquire a new boat of 58 footer size for multi- purpose fishing activities.
